"Cynthia had this amazing idea about re-interpreting the death of Cleopatra and creating this insane collaborative piece where we would see her before and after the poison entered her skin. When I saw the incredible paintings that David and Rafael did together, I knew this was going to be special so I really pushed myself and started experimenting with new techniques to animate different strings of neural networks together and the result is simply sublime. A two minutes venture into that critical moment in history supported by the breathtaking performance by Cynthia.

A chess board dominates the scene: on one side, and from above: the birds, on the other, and from below: the fish. Beings of air and water in constant battle…liquid and gaseous media, which are the origin of everything. Each being in conflict carries, as an architecture, an extension of its Being: sometimes it responds to a symbolic or geographical reason, or only to a formal or chromatic whim, or to a certain intuition perhaps... for example: the Condor wears Los Andes, the Quetzal, a Mayan pyramid, the Japanese fighting fish, a pagoda, etc... each one carries something beautiful, something built, with another micro-universe, perhaps the soul... Chess represents the constant battle of opposites, all we are pieces of an eternal and inevitable game, we all have a role in this game, a time, something to gain and something to lose. "Nectar of Eternity," an ancient pocket watch made of gold with precious gemstones, guards the secrets of spacetime. As time flows rapidly, a timeless hummingbird in eternal flight seeks the sweet nectar at its center, defying the boundaries of the ethereal. The figure of the skull silently and contemplatively observes, symbolizing the inevitability of death as an intrinsic part of human existence.

On a personal note, this is the Tarantino movie that got me hooked on both Tarantino and movies in general. 

It's no wonder, "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" is a brilliant genre mash-up that never loses its touch, even after countless viewings. 
It mines severed limbs for laughs while also telling a very humane revenge tale. 
This was the role that Uma Thurman was born to play. (It also helps that she and Tarantino wrote it together.) Introduce "Vol. 1" to somebody looking to get into movies. 
They'll immediately be renting a steady stream of Westerns, gangster pictures, and samurai epics.
