When there’s barely a breath of wind and a melodic score of tranquil waves lapping the shoreline. These are the moments I cherish in life. A time blended image, utilising intentional camera movement and capturing the warm evening glow, highlighting the ocean. 
I felt this technique suited the atmosphere of the evening and portrayed natural healing in troublesome times.

“Moments Of Calm”

I wake at 4.30am and navigate my way through the darkness. The smell of fresh mountain air invigorates the soul. As I wait for the perfect light, the drama unfolds, portraying a scene from a Tolkien novel. 

Photography is my mindfulness and a creative portal to the real world.

“Dawn Awakens”

I remember being totally blown away by this secluded spot in South Wales. It was really reminiscent of certain areas in New Zealand and such a pleasant surprise when I came upon it.

It was a complete joy sitting and waiting for the right light to take the photograph. The meditative sounds of the water, birdsong and total solitude were wondrous.

“Waterfall Country”

A time blended image I created during a weekend trip to Snowdonia National Park in the UK. Combining different time frames allowed the finished image to portray the moody weather I experienced. I included an additional frame to depict the starry sky earlier that night. 
A long and tiring trip but a very enjoyable and memorable one.

“Mood Is Upon Us”

The warm late evening light washing over land and sea provided a stunning scene to observe. Using a few exposures to capture the scene, I wanted to portray the isolation and relaxing natural beauty this location offers. The Jurassic coat in the UK is famed for its incredible geology of global importance. Containing many fossils that have locked in evidence of times past.

“Ocean Gaze”

The iconic Elizabeth Tower and the Great Bell or as it’s more commonly known, Big Ben. I took this photograph before the building’s historical refurbishment and I was lucky enough to experience this world famous view with some superb light.

I produced this image over a long weekend and time-blended it using multiple exposures in post-production. I pushed this edit a little further than normal and created the fine art image you see today. I’m very pleased with the result as it resembles my vision for the scene.
