Every seed includes its own lineage, and then transcends it – outdoing the past and turning what could be into what is. The new growth will bud, blossom, and fortify itself - weathering the elements so it can repeat the cycle. These phases can be explained but not predicted, making the simultaneous anticipation and observation of the varietal’s ongoing newness our gateway to cherishing it.
