Antoine de Saint-Exupéry once said, “Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction.”

This is an image shot in Masai Mara, Kenya in 2021. In the frame is one of the dominant males Mardadi with one of the females in the pride. This image was shot in between their courtship session in the open savannah. A beautiful moment.

I will be sending 20% from the proceeds of this NFT sale towards one of my favorite charity organizations that support wildlife workers in Kenya. An official receipt for this contribution will be provided to the buyer.

Mardadi and Missus...

This image was shot on my first trip to Costa Rica so this image is very special and makes it as my 2nd NFT. If you have seen the movie "Rio", then you know a Toucan. Toucans are very attractive looking birds found only in South America with their distinctive features, especially the long beak and traits.  

It had rained all night in the forests and this meant that these birds would come to feed plantain. As expected, after a long day of wait, by mid-day, two individuals flew in. Of the many shots, here is the shot of the day captured before the bananas went down which was timed to freeze the action. Long beaks mean a toss is inevitable to get the food down.

I will be giving away 20% from the proceeds of this NFT sale towards an organization actively working towards supporting wildlife conservation in South America. A receipt for this contribution will be provided to the buyer post sale.

The Toucan's Toss...

In the image are two black swans interacting with each other at day break during courtship. As their heads meet each other, it forms the shape of a heart and hence the title. 

Now what makes it special in the atmosphere surrounding the action. Perhaps one or two days in the whole year, in Dubai-UAE, we experience a transitionary mist around the city. However, no one can predict which day it happens. All of a sudden, the lake was covered in mist as the sun rose. Perfectly backlit by sun, the entire scene along with the black swans transformed into a magical moment. In my 8 years in Dubai, I have never before seen such a moment or have I seen it ever after. So this one is truly unique.

This image was an instant favorite among my followers. This image was also highly commended and published in the Bird Photographer of the Year Book 2021.
