The runway extends into Botany Bay. Planes landing in Sydney, both domestic and international, use that runway. If you are sitting in a window seat, you will be struck by the beautiful sea colour of Botany Bay. The Muruora-dial clan had lived in such a place for thousands of years, where the strong sunlight pierces the surface of the sea which reflects the colour of the ocean into brilliant turquoise blue to the human eye. Within Kamay ( Botany Bay ), there is an area called La Perouse. It is named after the French navigator 'La Perouse', who stayed there for a total of only six weeks, a week after he arrived in 1788. Ironically, the view of Kamay that you are now seeing from the plane window is the very first location where James Cook and the crew of HMS Endeavour came into contact with the indigenous people of Australia's east coast. And that was only the beginning of the history of western invasions.

一瞬の明るさだけを信じて進む

雲が風によって流される度にその差し込む光が消える  
それでも進める日もあれば、ずっとぐずぐずしている日々もある  
そうした中でまた強い日が差し込み、またより強く前進できる

まだはっきりと虹を見たことはない、  
見たことがある気もするけど、その度にすぐ消えてしまったと思うから。

Through the heavy clouds that overlap,  
I believe in the momentary brightness and move forward.

As the clouds are swept away by the wind, the light that filters through disappears,  
But there are days when I still move forward, and days when I am stuck in a rut.  
In the midst of it all, a strong day breaks through, and I am able to move forward even more strongly.

I have yet to see a clear rainbow,  
Though I feel like I have seen it before, it always disappears too quickly.

What was the motivation for this project?       

To see and learn how this space works. but mainly to prove I was not wrong that I didn’t post constantly my artwork on instagram. Also I wanted to challenge myself whether I can do it everyday or not if its not on Instagram.          In my philosophy, when someone do something for proving to someone or something another, most probably these stuff is boring and lack of depth. Unfortunately, this project is NOT probably nothing. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. So you can casually enjoy my photographs. Don’t need to think too much. This project is lame as hell and sounds like so ngmi but I had to do it. I hope I still exist in this space in September 2022 and understand this space better.
