Uprising

My mother passed away not a few years ago. She had four children. I remember when she graduated received her doctorate degree from the University of Maryland. She was apart of Toni Morrison's board of writers in her final book introduction. I remember meeting Toni in Rochester, NY. One thing about Toni is seeing her dreadlocks sprouting perfectly from her head. My mother showed me one of her novel's entitled "The Bluest Eye." This novel changed me forever, for it was a black girl who wanted to be white, or the fascination of seeing Annie on the mug in the kitchen for the first time. I will never forget the experiences growing up with parent who showed us so much about literature. I am still today, living in her footsteps. This abstract expressionism piece means more to me than anything. Very personal piece. I hope you enjoy it the same way.

One of my favorite movies from a Neo-Geo game was Fatal Fury Special. It was one of the greatest animated movies I ever saw. Another famous one was Akira. Both had great night landscapes in their films. I only could imagine how far I could go designing one. Especially with the dark color palettes. This one was especially fun to make. Osaka is such a beautiful city at night, I wanted to create a surreal moment with this one. You will hear me say that a lot, especially when it comes to Japanese night life.

Imagine being in a world unlike anything you have ever seen. It's only us out here. Listening to the tides bouncing off the beach. Nothing else matters at this point. Isolation and peace is all that drives us. The air smells salty, but the warmth of the red sea brushes against our skin. The sun is minimal at this part of the day, just after 3pm. I was always fascinated with Saudi Arabia since a kid. Now I heard they are building a massive city in Neom, Tabuk. Sign me up when it opens.  Akon is making a crypto city as well in Africa, might have to send a telegram while I'm minting this to make a reservation for four exist. Selling millions of records around the world, can have you in different places around the world. At this moment of my life, going through footage to re-live those moments. Ciao!

Our minds are so complex, even today's best scientists around the world, are still wondering how our brains work. Scientists say humans only use 10% of our brains. Imagine if we could use 100%.

Which brings us to the hypothesis, are we really free in our minds? 
Or are we strapped in chains protecting us from chaos...... 

Could it be our spirits tied to a symbol fact of not knowing the truth of freedom within our minds? I remember I watched a movie entitled 'Revolver' with Jason Statham and Andre 3000. Even though it's a movie, it circled around the idea of our egos, and it's purpose in our minds. What exactly is the voice in our head(s)? At the end of the movie, they had elite psychiatrists talking about how the voice in our head, or our ego is not really us. It's something else. Another one of the doctor's believed our egos truly can be the good or evil in us. Our minds define us. I grew up in a middle-class household, and never really experienced racism until I moved to Rochester, NY. Withing the 19th district. As a young kid I started to think about how certain areas in society just keep people chained down. Maybe so? Maybe not? It took me almost 20 years later for me to move out to St. Louis, Missouri, for me to really see the truth. This was the first time I was ever in handcuffs, for driving a friends car who didn't tell me they had expired plates. I really found myself in a tight spot, being handcuffed is not a feeling I would want anyone to feel. It felt like being a slave on a plantation in the south. Regardless, a few years later, I eventually broke through the code and found myself at the top of the world at one point. Working with Cornell "Nelly" Haynes, Mr. Country Grammar changed my life. Nelly showed me the power of opportunities. Which made me think more about "Maybe it's not a chained mentally, it's more of how bad do you want it in life." Even though I sacrificed so much to get there. In the end, did I become a product of my environment? Hell No! My mother taught me to be free. To treat everyone like family, not matter what. So I did... These mental chains of society won't hold me. I will be free. For now.

Achilles stays hidden underwater in the middle of the River Styx. Only one eye is visible on the water surface. Poseidon's Trident on the left, awaiting to be summoned. Patroclus, floating on the right.  Knowing his cousin Achilles has joined him below. Helen of Troy, her body's aura exposed under the water. Yes(ναί), a reflection of her beauty even reaches the depths of hell.
Look beyond the horizon to see the Sun. Glaring without a reflection on water. Only the Gods know why. However, Poseidon saved Aeneas in the Trojan War. Epic poems were spoken into existence.
