S.M.I.L.E.
S.M.I.L.E. is from a series of striped animations made between 2010 and 2013. This particular piece was created for a B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Beamer/projector) group exhibition organised by Boiler Room in London in 2013. I have since exhibited it in a few online and IRL exhibitions, the most notable being The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Connecticut, USA.

Nancy Noise
Nancy Noise is another animation from the striped series made between 2010-2013. I only exhibited this piece once in 2011 on an old CRT monitor in a South London warehouse, but it's one of my favourites. The title is a homage to the awesome balearic and acid house DJ of the same name.

Dance Together, Live Together
I started making it in 2010, but I was unable to finished it at the time because it took too long to render every little edit. I tried working on it again in 2013 after making S.M.I.L.E. and Nancy Noise, adding colour. But again, rendering took too long and I never saw what it looked like finished. I was finally able to finish it this year on a new computer :-)
The title 'Dance Together, Live Together' references a quote from the film 2003 Maestro (which is about Larry Levan, David Mancuso and Nicky Siano), where someone says, "If people can dance together, they can live together."

Finished in 2010, SPINK was the first football kit I animated. It's based on the 1993/1994 Aston Villa goalie kit as worn by Nigel Spink, and has been exhibited in shows at Seventeen Gallery (London), SPACE (London), Grand Union (Birmingham) and The National Football Museum (Manchester) over the years.
