We didn't know how good we had it those first two years running the city of Houston together but this was our final stop on what had been a long road of memories.  After two years of studying blueprints and then in and outs of this structure we finally made our move. When we emerged through the roof doors the round structure hung overhead like a spaceship.  We slept through the night and awoke to the clouds settling all around us, we immediately climbed the ladder and emerged onto the top shrouded by the clouds. I watched as my friend made his way around the enormous structure and disappeared into the clouds. When the clouds lifted enough for me to shoot, I snapped this photo concreting our final chapter in history. 

End Of The Line

On this gloomy morning I climbed the Queensborough in an attempt to get a snow shot that I always wanted.  I started the climb during the night and instantly the sounds of the city and the cool morning air had me at peace and cleared my head.  I took my photos and returned the streets of New York a much richer individual inside.

From coast to coast, between borders and beyond, this series represents the journey that has forged the person and artist that I am today. By following my vans on this vast journey through time, I hope you will feel every step and heartbeat, I hope you will rise above fears with me. If this journey has taught me anything it is that everything is about our struggle and process, if you never climb, you never see the view. This is the climb. In snow and fog, sunshine and rain, from the tops of skyscrapers and bridges and through incarceration, here I learned to do whatever it takes. These are the shoes that made me. Welcome.

Where My Vans Go *

For days we made the city our playground, Climbing, tunneling and train surfing in the pursuit of seeing all Paris had to offer. Late in the day we split the group in half, two of us going to surf and two set taking the photo we'd set up.  after an exhilarating ride and a sprint to safety we had our final result, a dream photo in front of the Eiffel Tower with a special touch to make it all the more unique.

How do you know you're living? I believe you don't truly understand until you've truly reached a point where you confront death in life.  Each of us must decide daily how we will push ourselves to rise above fear and live instead of dying in the bed of conformity.  This fight will bring us face to face with moments of reckoning where we must decide to beyond ourselves into the unknown and it is here we rendezvous with destiny and stare into infinity's eyes.
