The leaf was caught in the swan's wake,
And danced along with every move,

As they swam through the pond's groove.

The swan was elegant, its feathers white,
A regal bird, a sight to behold,
Its presence brought a sense of delight,
As it swam, so calm and bold.

The leaf was brown, a humble thing,
A symbol of autumn's arrival,
But in the swan's wake, it did sing,
A dance of grace and survival.

Together they moved, leaf and swan,
A fleeting moment of harmony,
A reminder that even when life's gone,
We can find beauty in unity.
