WOMAN WITH A CITY BIKE
Seeing how other cities manage traffic and become more sustainable is always interesting. Amsterdam is a city of bikes. They have a high density of bikes and this is a major contributing factor to their sustainability. Amsterdam is one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world. Not only are there lots of bike lanes, but there are many people who use them. Even though the city has much rain and is chillingly cold people use bikes all the time.
I tried to take this photo using the panning technique. I slowed down the shutter speed to create a motion effect.

The black and white street photo portrays a woman standing on Saint-Malo's ancient medieval stairways, capturing the city's timeless quality that reflects its rich history and charm. The woman's modern appearance contrasts with the old architecture, creating a connection between the past and present. The interplay of light and shadows creates depth and dimension to the scene, inviting viewers to appreciate the beauty of this historic city.
