Sweet Memory (I)

This series is an exploration of the serene beauty found in nature's twilight hues. Drawing inspiration from the captivating colors of sunsets over the sea and skyline, I sought to create a harmonious composition. I embarked on a journey of artistic expression through coding.

Using JavaScript, I developed an algorithm that utilized gradients and carefully selected colors from a curated palette. This approach ensured a balanced and intentional use of color. The algorithm generated a series of images,  which became the foundation for further exploration.

By leveraging the power of AI and machine learning, these images were transformed into videos. It was during this transformative process that I discovered a fondness for the moments of seamless transition between frames. These transitions, achieved through frame interpolation, evoked a sense of poetic movement and visual harmony.

To capture these brief moments, I carefully selected and saved individual frames from the videos. Each frame encapsulated a captivating color transition, serving as a visual representation of the artwork's essence. These still images underwent careful refinement using graphic software, allowing me to bring forth their inherent beauty.

This artistic journey has been an amalgamation of my passion for coding and the limitless possibilities offered by AI. The result is a composition that seeks to evoke a sense of tranquility and modest beauty, celebrating the subtle wonders found in nature's palette.

The appearance of each token is initially determined by the hash, but the size and positions of its elements change randomly over time, creating an infinite performance.

While working on this project, I was inspired by the elusiveness of the moment, that cannot be saved or predicted. It can only be experienced.

I was inspired by its' energy and decided to mix the photo of the river with my artworks and use this mix as a dataset for AI

"Soft Wind" is a multi-chain collection of color field images and videos created as an experiment with artificial intelligence.

Soft Wind

In a world of endless information flow, we can only rely on our feelings and intuition.
This work does not carry a complex intellectual concept or a serious semantic load. On the contrary, it is created to give the viewer the opportunity to stop thinking and devote some time to their feelings. Visually, it consists of color fields created with the help of code, which change their position on the screen and flow into each other in their own rhythm. Their forms are completely abstract, and the colors are contrasting. They capture and relax the attention of the viewer,        communicating with the unconscious.

From a technical point of view, the project is webgl shaders, which use trigonometric functions and parameters passed from javascript for the creation of color fields and mixing it in a feedback loop with previous frames. The project doesn't use any third party code, libraries or external dependencies. This work includes 11 different composition mods, each of them variable in terms of the shape and arrangement of colors on the screen and has different transitions between color channels and color states. Before being rendered to the screen, the image passes through a feedback filter, which also has several settings for light channels and data processing speed. This all creates a wide variety of possible iterations.
