In October last year, I started working on a collection for Marfa—having never been there and no reference material. As a collage artist, that’s a problem. Then, in a wild coincidence, Hugo from @trygamma messaged me about a project they were doing for Marfa. They were handing out disposable cameras there. Would I be interested in working with the images? Hell yeah. When the stars align, you say yes. What started as 20 images turned into a generative collection of 432.
