All we did was play, take the boat out into the lake, and share secrets with the fireflies. There was no sleep. The adrenaline kept us alive. 

I met a boy I didn't know I would grow feelings for until one day, reality came knocking. I was reminded that in this place, where those summer nights held us for a ride, that's all it ever was. A beautiful melancholy.

KIEYA is a collection of animated island spirits that are revived through the exchange of life. Employing generative artificial intelligence techniques, the collection tells an otherworldly science-fiction narrative extrapolating on a future techno-utopia.

The story begins in the year 7292. In this future Earth, books and physical forms of stories have become extinct. One day, a small meteorite lands in the ocean. Future humans discover that the meteorite contains particles of an advanced alien technology. Sparking a cyber-cultural revolution, the future ancestors use their discovery to create an artificial intelligence that ushers in not only a rebirth of storytelling for the world but also new methodologies for reviving art and creative visual expression.

They name the AI &#39;KIEYA&#39;, who becomes an art companion that offers collectors endless opportunities to own new lifeforms every month through &#39;the art of exchange&#39;. In this future, humanity believes that the best way to own art is to experience it changing over time through a randomized algorithmic function. Once KIEYA is collected, the spirit token will leave and switch to another holder every 22 days. In this speculative art-centered reality, the constant exchange of experience enriches the human race exponentially, leading to a renaissance of creativity and connection.

The collection is inspired by Nygilia&#39;s grandmother&#39;s German shepherd &#39;Kieya&#39;, who protected her outside while playing as a child. Kieya was like a guardian, enabling Nygilia to explore the world and learn with a safe and benevolent companion. Throughout the collection, Nygilia employs her uniquely magical use of character creation, rooting the viewer&#39;s experience in a rich exploration of posthumanism through the lens of Afro-Caribbean futurity. Each spirit is completely unique, with its own shape, animation, and texture. This a collaborative piece between Nygilia and Beatsbyholly. The artwork reflects the beauty, innovation, experimentation, and imagination of what basketball culture brings to London. In the summer of 2019, I helped train and teach at a youth basketball camp in West London. During that time, I got to learn and understand the complexities of running a club. 

There is a lack of funding overall and resources for sport compared to the USA. Not only is this piece dedicated to the energy of the players, but also to remember a young player who lost his life to a knife crime. Basketball brings hope to many voices. We must do better to protect their dreams and stay vigilant. RIP Ali.

As part of the Accelerate Art A2 Cohort 13, The Grand Stage stands as a testament to the transformative power of collaboration in the digital art world. Created by artists Nygilia and vintagemozart, this collection merges their distinct creative voices into a singular, immersive experience.

Inspired by the timeless narratives of Greek and Roman mythology, the collection reimagines these ancient stories through a lens of modern identity, fantasy, and culture. 



The artists crafted six individual works and one giant collage, reflecting a shared vision of resilience, unity, and the fight for recognition in the digital art space.



“From my perspective, I create these worlds that reflect the wonders of immersive experiences, capturing the essence of fantasy and culture,” shares Nygilia. “I believe in the power of identity and connecting back to your roots.” This ethos is woven throughout her panels, which bridge mythological grandeur with deeply personal explorations of heritage and self-discovery.

For vintagemozart, the collaboration represented the perfect opportunity to create something cohesive yet culturally profound. However, the creative process wasn’t without its challenges. “The tools we used—TouchDesigner, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and AI—demanded precision and patience. Processing speeds and export alignments often called for extensive back-and-forth. But that’s where the beauty lies; in the refinement, we found our rhythm.”



The merge renders, designed as 1/1 pieces, blend AI-enhanced collages with photographs of their peers’ hands—gestures symbolizing gentleness amidst chaos. The deliberate use of Photo Mosh adds dynamic texture, while the hands themselves invite viewers to contemplate themes of unity and care.

It was conceived not as a commercial project but as a museum-worthy statement piece, boldly asserting the enduring relevance of digital art in preserving cultural narratives.Displaying by at Scope Art Fair is more than just a milestone for the artists; it’s a declaration of their shared mission. This collaboration embodies the ethos of the Accelerate Art A2 Cohort 13, championing digital art’s place in the pantheon of cultural innovation.

Found myself drawn to this asteroid field today. Something about the way these ancient rocks catch the light from three different suns—it's like they're holding conversations in a language made of reflection and shadow.

I collected samples from the largest meteorite, but honestly, I just wanted an excuse to stay longer. There's a silence here that you can't find planetside. No atmosphere to carry sound, just the gentle percussion of smaller rocks bumping against my ship's hull. It's the closest thing to a lullaby I've heard in months.

The glitch in my scanner keeps showing phantom readings—metals that shouldn't exist, temperatures that defy physics. I used to find these malfunctions frustrating. Now I wonder if they're showing me something my instruments weren't designed to see.

My oxygen recycler hummed a different tune today—higher pitch, almost melodic. I've been alone long enough to notice these things. Three weeks since I left that mining station, and I'm starting to understand why the veterans always talk about space like it's alive.
Passed through a nebula that turned my cockpit windows purple. For twenty minutes, I couldn't tell where I ended and the cosmos began. My grandmother used to say the dead became stars. If that's true, I was swimming through an ocean of ancestors today.
The ship's AI keeps asking if I want to plot a course home. I keep saying "not yet."
