Bright Moments - CryptoCitizens - the concept and experience of IRL minting and reveal, as well as the inclusive philosophy behind the collection really cemented my love of gen art - hoping to mint all nine cities + a galactican
Tyler Hobbs - Fidenza. A couple of months and mints into discovering Art Blocks, I was on the first hole tee box with some golf buddies when Fidenza dropped, had a great time with my friends but regretted missing the drop, jumped in on secondary which quickly got out of reach - have this signed and hanging on the wall at home - the shapes and angles are disorienting if you look at them long enough and the rectangular frame breaks down into something more trapezoidal. Then a few months later I joined GrailersDAO and went to NYC for the reveal of the grail (#90) of Incomplete Control. Was a special event and also we all got Covid. That part wasn't fun.
Dmitri Cherniak - Ringers - unfortunately I discovered Art Blocks a couple of months after Ringers landed - but I was determined to get this Space Shuttle Ringer, as a symbol of generative art mooning, but Dmitri commenting himself on discord that he liked this particular floor Ringer was all the encouragement I needed
Snowfro - Chromie Squiggle - this slinky is endearingly referred to as the Spider Squiggle
Alexis Andre - Messengers - was one of the first collections where I couldn't stop minting
Matt Kane - Gazers - my first experience with ever changing art, and the one I wish most to put up on a screen to witness the changes each day
Ryan Bell - Sprocket Factory - ""A Doodle, Ringer, and Fidenza walk into a Space Bar"
More Art Blocks.
Trossets. One of the first Art Blocks to go dutch auction. I love this piece but also it reminds me of the poor mechanic that lead to so many buying way above true market value.
Right Click Share by XCOPY and Deca - grateful for a hoodie pixel in the collective
Miniscapes by Rich Poole and ThePaperCrane - the simple, minimalist landscapes really do "charm, delight, and surprise."
Auto Park by KilledByAPixel. Someone referred to this project as Cardenza. LOL. Love the variety and colors.
