Istanbul Cat
Hank The Tank
The Skinks
Tombili (a common Turkish nickname for a chubby pet) was a street cat who lived in Ziverbey in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul. The cat became popular with residents of the neighborhood for her friendliness and her way of leaning against steps. As a result of a photo of this pose, the cat became known worldwide in social networks and became an internet phenomenon.
So far, nobody has been able to deter Hank, said Peter Tira, a spokesman for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Department officials and the local police have tried to “haze” the bear with paintballs, bean bags, sirens and tasers, but he is too drawn to humans and their food to stay away for long.
The Skinks are a rock band originally formed in 1996, in Sheffield, UK.
Ikea Monkey
Ikea Monkey is the nickname given to a Japanese snow macaque named Darwin that was found loose wearing a coat at a Canadian Ikea store in December of 2012. Today, Darwin lives at Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary, where he has “grown up to be a handsome young monkey".
The tanuki is also known as the raccoon dog, despite being neither of those things. It's said the tanuki can stretch it's scrotum to the size of eight tatami mats, and has been depicted using it's balls as sails for boats, fishing nets, umbrellas, swimming pools, cloaks to smother an enemy, and more. Today, tanuki are used as a symbol of good fortune and prosperity.

Wythenshawe Dogs
Based in LA but a native of Wythenshawe, Luke created a piece titled "‘Wild Dogs of Wythenshawe" based on the feral dogs that roam his grandma’s neighbourhood. True to form, he captured the downright dirtiest and baddest of all the hounds. These dogs are brought to life once again in the Petabytes collection.
