Genuary. In the fall of 2020 a couple of generative artists began to talk about a generative art event in the veins of inktober. This ended up with the event Genuary where a prompt for each day of January was provided and the artist was then free interpret it as they saw fit. Around this time I became increasingly interested in crypto art and NFTs which coincided with the birth of the Hic Et Nunc platform on Tezos. Following Genuary 2021 I minted a few of my favourite pieces which became my entry into cryptoart.
