Rapture

Rapture is a generative art series released on ArtBlocks in August, 2021.

The series revolves around a narrative of magical seals drawing their power from a selection of gemstones. The pieces show the result of the seals bursting as they fail to contain the power within.

Rapture sports a build-up animation showing the intact seal shaking and shivering as the power within tries to break free. While Rapture are intended as static pieces of art the animation works to emphasise the narrative while allowing the computationally heavy algorithm to finish calculating the flow of colours.
