a biography & showcase.

GoldCat is a talented NFT artist from Germany embracing the world of Tezos. She initially produced fantasy works as a freelance illustrator, drawing elves and monster concepts for various game developers and authors.

Although content and grateful, GoldCat's dream was to pursue her own vision, focusing on development as an artist and to really explore her personal art style. And with that, the alias GoldCat was born. With overwhelming feedback and support online, a creative spark was rekindled.

The idea of making original artwork using NFTs is nothing particularly unique to Tezos, however, it was the first proof of stake blockchain that GoldCat was able to find with a refined and well working NFT platform.

The proof of stake nature of Tezos eliminated the pressure of selective minting many creators faced on more popular blockchains like Ethereum. Outrageous gas fees were a thing of the past, creating an environment where artists can learn, grow, and experiment.

Technological advancement, reduced carbon footprint, and a community like no other culminated and converged onto GoldCat's path. The rest is history.

Moving forward, GoldCat believes there will be big developments in the showcasing options and themed gallery spaces.
