Description

Kraswerk (meaning "scratchwork") is a project that breaks apart and rebuilds the canvas in many different ways, filling the spaces with detailed pencil-like scratches. The algorithm turns what could be messy scratches by themselves into beautiful visuals, where computational precision meets hand-drawn warmth. This was the first big project I felt compelled to finish after becoming a father, a testament to how deeply it resonated with me during that transformative time. Perhaps there's something fitting about creating art from fragments and scratches while learning to piece together a new life as a parent.
