Diaspora Dreamscape #13955

Collection

Layer3 Art Campaign: Diaspora Dreamscape 9

Description

This series of abstract digital paintings delves into the intricate tapestry of cultural identity, exploring the intersection of Colombian roots and the vibrant Berlin cityscape. Inspired by the exhilarating chaos of cultural shock and the nostalgic longing for a homeland left behind, these works capture the vibrant energy of both worlds. Organic shapes reminiscent of Colombian landscapes are intertwined with bold, urban colors and textures inspired by graffiti and techno party posters, reflecting the artist's dynamic experience navigating between two distinct cultures. The collection offers a visual exploration of the emotional journey of an immigrant, grappling with the tension between tradition and modernity, belonging and alienation.
