Anemale Generis -- Project Description
Anemale Generis is an artistic and technical project at the intersection of generative art, artificial intelligence, and onchain creation.
It is both a creative tool, a world-building engine, and a personal artistic experience, designed by an artist and built with a developer's mindset.
Vision
Anemale Generis explores the creation of unknown worlds, governed by their own visual, chromatic, and symbolic laws.
Each artwork is a window into an autonomous universe -- sometimes unpredictable, sometimes guided, but always coherent with the project's artistic DNA.
The goal is not mass image production, but to offer a true act of creation, closer to a mental journey or a form of art therapy.
A layered creation system
At its core, Anemale Generis relies on a modular, layered system, where each artwork is built through multiple dimensions:
Environments: Mineral deserts, organic caves, cosmic spaces, symbolic cities, unknown dimensions. Environments define the world's architecture, perspective, light, depth, and materiality.
Subjects: Creatures embedded in the landscape, hybrid forms, mutations, abstract presences, symbolic glyphs. Subjects are never decorative -- they are part of the world's matter and narrative.
Motion, emotion, style, color: Each world has its own dynamic -- floating, spiraling, tension, calm, chaos, silence. Color, texture, and light shape the emotional identity of the piece.
Two distinct and complementary AI LoRA models
Anemale Generis is powered by two custom-trained LoRA models:
Environment LoRA: Trained to understand world-building, large-scale perspectives, materials, volumes, and spatial coherence.
Subject LoRA: Trained to generate readable, integrated entities that merge naturally with their environment.
This separation ensures strong artistic consistency while preserving creative freedom.
Guided or random world creation
Users can let the system generate a fully random world based on internal rules, or select specific layers (environment, subject, style, color) and let the artistic model interpret them.
In every case, the final artwork emerges from a dialogue between human intention and the model's artistic interpretation.
Onchain generation and permanence
Each generation is computed server-side, saved with complete metadata, permanently stored (image + metadata), and mintable onchain as a unique NFT.
Minting is optional: the artwork exists first as an artistic experience, then the user may choose to anchor it permanently onchain.
Each onchain artwork corresponds to one unique generation, non-reproducible.
A living, evolving project
Anemale Generis is a living system: models evolve, new worlds emerge, rules shift, the universe expands over time.
It is not a static collection, but a continuous artistic process, where technology serves a sensitive, introspective, and poetic vision.
