Description

This image was captured at sunrise as the fog rolled over the volcanic mountains of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The horses on this remote peninsula roam freely among the moss-covered lava fields which give the ground its unique texture. On this particular morning, I was looking for a good composition to photograph the beautiful fog when I suddenly stumbled upon this white horse standing in the field.
