I've found myself spending an increasing amount of time scooting new locations. I need to interpret what I see in a new way. That forces me to take a deeper look at all details and be very mindful of how the visible, and invisible, light shapes the landscape. I always wanted to find a way to be inspired by my local environment. Using infrared, I'm able to change some markers to create a unique version of nature. This sparks the curiosity of the viewer. The nature around me has never been so mesmerizing. "B3Y0ND" is an encouragement to reconnect ourselves to the nature around us. To look beyond what we see and be inspired by the wonders of our world. The island "De La Harpe" was captured using a 720 nm filter. The green foliage of the trees shines under a dark blue sky. The stars were taken in visible light during the night in the Alps.
