I’m in love with the idea of falling in love: the idea that one day you meet someone your heart gets lit with a fire that won’t stop burning until a stranger of a human becomes your new home. The feeling that your future sounds like footsteps echoing in tandem your lover in your stride. I love everything about love. I love hearing about the love my friends feel. I love watching strangers hold hands at sunset. I love old, married couples that go to the same diner for breakfast every Sunday asking for the extra packet of sugar. They know how their lover takes their coffee: light cream and extra sweet. I love the idea of running through a rain storm holding your lover’s hand, laughing becoming the water that drenches every inch of you. I’m a hopeless romantic ; the world is too beautiful not to be.
