Description

“The most inspiring person is the one overcoming their fears. Not the one who is already excellent.” Success is great, but the journey of overcoming is greater than being perfect. You don't need to be better than others to show up. It is enough to just start and keep going forward. Eyes ahead, chin up, and work what you got. Dunes Day was taken in Colorado when I revisited the first place I tried to learn photography. I had a basic digital camera back then, no clue what I was doing, and a passion to learn how to get those shots I saw on Instagram. The Colorado Sand Dunes was a perfect place to learn about light, shadows, trekking up soft sand dunes with weight on your back, and how quickly temperature changes when the sun goes down. This is rare as it is from a time I never even considered photography as an income, but as a hobby. Going back for a brief weekend was great to see how different I looked at this place. I hope to go back again next year.
