Description

When you have love and confidence in yourself it makes it real hard to have room for any hate in your heart.⁣⁣ ⁣ So often negativity and hate comes from a dark place within, projections of people’s own insecurities and negative perceptions onto others. Mixed with so much misinformation that has been deep rooted into our education systems and the lack of awareness across the majority (honestly I’m one of them and holding myself accountable to get educated) ⁣⁣ 𝗪𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐍𝐎𝗪𝐋𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐔𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝗪𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐘𝐂𝐋𝐄.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦. There are now infinite resources being spread across all social media platforms for books, podcasts, videos, activists to follow.. listen to black people who have been doing this way before any of us got enlightened.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 2. 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞- your time, your money, your voice. Link in my bio with various organizations or ways to take action and help with Black America. Also a highlight with links and tagged pages of where to go for more. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3. 𝐕𝐎𝐓𝐄!! 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘨𝘰𝘥 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦. We can make a real difference here.. and we need leadership that supports and is behind that. So easy to register and mail in your ballot. ⁣⁣ https://www.vote.org/register-to-vote/⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ In a negative headspace? 👉🏽check yourself. The real reason is usually 2 or 3 “whys” deep (iykyk) isn’t it exhausting to have so much hate and trying to keep people down? Racism is terrorism. Experiencing just a surface level of comments, slurs, or inconveniences due to my middle eastern descent It genuinely breaks my heart to imagine what our black brothers and sisters have had to go through every single day stemming from an exponentially longer negative system.⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣ 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟎 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ #changeiscoming #changeispossible #changeyourmindset #changetheworld #blacklivesmatter #bethechange #takeaction ⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣ 📸 @thomas_garanzuay
