Body Of Work #10 Eternal I have this idea about the moment of conception. How in that tiny 'big bang" instant of biological reactions, the eternal "us" chooses to come into being. I'd like to think of it as if our eternal self selects life to experience a determinate reality. As mortals, we toy around with ideas like immortality, while our eternal self seeks a momentary reprieve of life-ever-lasting to encounter a limiting existence on this finite realm. 'Eternal' is my visual interpretation of this event. As the eternal self exists in a higher dimension, she decides enter our world. Her hand connects with the moment of fertilization as it opens a portal into our dimension.
