Description

The Balanced Story: As a photographer, sometimes I get lucky and arrive to a location, take my photo and head home. This location was one that required a bit more patience and dedication but it was worth every second. I spent 2 days trying to capture the incredible contrasting orange sand and turquoise water. On my first visit, the winds were way too strong. So strong that the waves were crashing heavily onto the sand and I couldn’t even hover my drone. On my second attempt, I came at the wrong time of day. The tide was now too high so the orange sand was completely covered. Later that day I came back to find that everything was perfect. No wind, calm tide and exposed orange sand. I ran over and captured a crazy amount of photos to save this special moment. It was almost like a reward for all my failed attempts. This photo brings me calm vibes just as it was in the moment.
