Title: Lorena. Artist name: César Rodríguez. Collection: Editions, Stories of the World. Edition 15/15 Lorena running among the tobacco leaves I met Lorena and her family in 2016 while I was documenting the life in the tobacco fields. Lorena was just a kid but she was already working to help support her family by cutting tobacco leaves in the coast of Nayarit, Mexico. They come from the mountains of Nayarit, walking and traveling for hours, leaving their homes in the mountains just to work for a daily food in their hands. She and her family work and live in the tobacco fields, cutting leaves that will later be turned into cigarettes for big international companies. They live under very harsh conditions while working, camping in plastic bag tents, without no running water or proper nutrition. Despite all these issues, she is just a kid and she tries to find time and moments to play and enjoy the sutil moments of her short life. I like to think that Lorena is running to a better life. License: Can be used to display privately, or in commercial and non-commercial settings, or in groups with an unlimited number of participants. The license includes unlimited use and display in virtual or physical galleries, documentaries, and essays by the NFT holder. Provides no rights to create commercial merchandise, commercial distribution, or derivative works.
