Book One, Chapter Four: Relaxing

Collection

Untitled Collection #252906009

Description

It’s good to eat. Both octos felt full, and they looked for a place to do the next obvious thing. Take a nice nap. And stretch after. When they were both ready, Red reached out for his friend’s tentacle. And they took off exploring together. It wasn’t long before they found a reef full of many beautiful, exotic fish. Sometimes people who visit a city marvel at the traffic, but not the ones who live there. A lovely fish parade looks very different to an octo who isn’t hungry. When you’ve eaten & napped & gone exploring & you still don’t feel any less annoyed with the world, then it’s probably time to try something more stimulating. Like punching annoying ass fish. After a few dozen vanquished neighbors, our heroes were happy octos again. They were basking in their success when a very bright, mysterious light fell across the ocean floor. It moved erratically but purposefully, as if it was searching for something. After a moment, Red could see that it was coming toward them.
