Description

Do you know how it feels to be crushed? To have my hopes drained and brushed. Black or white, police brutality knows none A smack by a baton and all hope is gone Life was always fast-paced, we never slowed down, Until everything stopped when Corona came to town Crying and failing Panting and wailing Understanding that these men in blue weren't out to save Knowing what's like to have one foot in the grave Dear men in blue behind the mesh You’ve become a thorn in our flesh! You make us wish death on ourselves Making us feel worse than our less selves Deafening noise at 3 AM Must be Sir Fred again Parting my ragged curtain Scarlet drops pattering down the drain Shutting the windows tight For Sir Fred just met my sight Exactly how it happens on a broad daylight Moonlight hungs down, I'm creepified Meeting eye to eye gives me a fright *Lemme see your hands!!!!* That's what the officer says, But he still shoots like he couldn't see my hands, Why did you shoot me? A question my lifeless body tries to ask Again, We take a walk And confront with talk Our oppressors in uniform Saying no to police brutality!
