Description

2020 eroded my mental landscape. I’ve become etched, weathered, full of faults, with waves of imperfections, and sneaky crevices of dark blues with intimate lit moments that helped guide me through my imperfect moments Thank you to my light that led me to safety. I was starting to do mentally better before 2020. I seemed to be more balanced, a bit more in the "middle" of mood swings. Then came 2020, which really damaged my progress I did have. At the end of the year, I was exhausted. I feel like I walked three steps backwards in my progress with me being a better human. I might be too hard on myself, but that’s how I felt at the end of the year. During that time, I was lucky to have a wonderful group of friends, a tribe if you will, that held me up all year. I’m sorry I was an emotional burden to you guys. I love you like family. You are my light to get me by. You know who you are. As my group of friends say, “Make it grape!” meaning, make the day good. Chromesthesia colors inspired by Fleetwood Mac, ”Landslide”. Chromesthesia or sound-to-color synesthesia is a type of synesthesia in which sound involuntarily evokes an experience of color, shape, and movement. I see colors when I hear certain music, or sounds. I use this ability in my photography by altering certain colors to match what I see from listening to music.
