Beautiful Deaths

Collection

Untitled Collection #252906009

Description

Digital Mixed Media Collage from a single free-use image and many images of myself captured by photographer Kimberly Witort. I believe in death because I believe in life. The deaths I have experienced in this life have changed, and continue to change, me. I find myself transformed; a new creation every day. My past is experiencing necessary death as I commit myself to healing the traumas I have stored inside my body. My past is actively dying and I have found the truth underneath its decay. These traumas have made me a slave to their stories, but I am finding freedom in the present and hope for the future by rewriting the script and rewiring my brain. In death, I see the beauty of I Am, and I Am not the story.
