Description

A hard-fork, inspired by but not affiliated with Damien Hirst, of 'The Currency'. We question the imperfections from the physical production when the value, the currency and the form of art exists on a pure digital media, the blockchain. And we curiously enquire about the story behind the titles by letting neural networks continue the text. Computer vision algorithms detected and reconstructed the dots in perfectly round shape and homogeneous color. Statistical analysis on rarities are computed on the exact geometry of the image, leading to new statistical properties, such as the offset of the gravitational center of the dots. Texts generating neural networks have synthesised and completed the story inspired by the original title revealing their textual associations. A parallel art project brought to you by Parallel Systems: a collective of artists, economists and engineers challenging the validity of physically produced art by presenting a flawless digital hard fork.
