Description

Mystic Beach along the Juan De Fuca trail is a classic Vancouver Island location. This shot was taken on one of my first trips to this beautiful strip of coastline. About an hour and a half drive away from the city of Victoria, you start the hike through a PNW rainforest and a carpet of ferns and moss and mud. Thirty minutes or so later, you exit through the trees to the sound of the Pacific Ocean crashing onto the shoreline. Mystic Beach holds so many great memories for me and is a quick getaway where the cel. reception disappears and I can always clear my mind.
