Description

Title- In the Cusp of Solitude Story- After years of battling through, we found our solitude in Photography & Art. We will hold onto it forever. Project- "Survivor" is a reflection of human life through a series of 10 pixelated images (each image is 1/1NFT) introspecting the norms of society and a faint hope of staying alive. Supriya Samal (Sup) & Sameer Pradhan (Sam) started photography in their early 30s when Sup was struggling with clinical depression. It was a painful journey of being ridiculed by friends & family and self-hate to such a point that she wanted to end her life. So, the two of them started travelling to distant places where she found her solace in nature. The combined love of photography, travel and love towards each other saved her life. The collection showcases Sup's artistic expression of how they find the courage to fight against isolation, mental agony, societal norms and yet survive against all the odds.
