Description

March marks the end of the mating season, which is the most critical time in the fox’s life. The dominant couples have to fight daily to keep their territory and make sure no other fox is messing with their partner. Fighting in this period of rare food is definitely very challenging and will determine the success of the next spring litter. Depending on their health level at the end of the winter, the foxes will be able to give birth to more or less cubs.
