Description

98 Life of Garts 2480x3508px My body felt like it was slowly returning to normal after spending a hellish night suffering from three consecutive blows of pain, from changing water to a never-ending water change, sudden body temperature, and even a cold due to high fever. But every time I came to Varanasi, I couldn't erase the feeling of drowsiness and the heavy feeling that my body was sinking to the ground. Varanasi is notorious for poor sanitation, so I decided to be more careful as it would ruin the end of the trip if I was spoiled by food. When I woke up and went to Ghat, the river was quite cold because of the monsoon season, unlike when I visited Varanasi in winter. As in the past, sitting at the bottom of the ghat and listening to music while looking at the Ganges River, such a sentimental act was no longer possible. Unfortunately, from the top of the ‘Ashigat’, which is not flooded with water, to the Manikarnika Ghat where the crematorium is located. As you walk from end to end, you will pass through so many activities of life. Ascetic monks seeking enlightenment, people praying to gods in the river, burning corpses, bad-looking goats, rickshawalas fighting each other with their voices raised, and even babies with clear eyes that can see through me.
