Description

The year 2020 forced new perspectives on our everyday life Perspectives that are surreal, abstract, and off-putting It’s hard to adapt to But we must Can we hang on? Can I? The world wasn’t flipped upside down in the year 2020. The world was flipped sideways. Being flipped upside down is easier to recover from, we would just have to do the exact opposite to correct the action. The world did not know how to react to a global pandemic, and here we are still a year later struggling with the pandemic, still hanging on. I’m barely hanging on at this point of the pandemic. Working in the medical front lines has been so incredibly exhausting. I’m burning out. I think we all are. Chromesthesia colors inspired by Purity Ring, ”Peacefall”. Chromesthesia or sound-to-color synesthesia is a type of synesthesia in which sound involuntarily evokes an experience of color, shape, and movement. I see colors when I hear certain music, or sounds. I use this ability in my photography by altering certain colors to match what I see from listening to music.
