**Foundation** The intense fire from billions of stars burning brightly, photons that have traveled tens of thousands of light-years embedding their data on my camera sensor. Being out under the night sky and capturing what's going on always brings me joy. Many astrophotographers will tell you how addictive it is! Taken amongst the ancient rock formations at Castle Hill, New Zealand. **About me** I'm Paul Wilson, an Astrophotographer from New Zealand. Born in 1986. I picked up my first camera in 2014 and haven't looked back. Self-taught and constantly pushing the limitless creative potential of photography, always in search of the next shot. I'm happy to have made so many friends through photography, won awards, worked with amazing companies, and impressed my son capturing the universe around us.
