Mueller Lake, Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, New Zealand This shot was taken from my first ever aerial flight and shooting photography from a plane. I will feeling pretty nervous, both from my fear of heights and using my camera out the window of a plane. Those nerves soon vanished after we got up in the air and I got to see one of New Zealand's most incredible National Parks from the air. As we flew over Mueller Lake pictured above, the sun dipped behind Mount Sefton creating this beautiful God like beam behind it. The glacial water created an incredible reflection of the mountains and I just couldn't have wished for a better experience for my first time doing this type of photography. I have since been on countless flights and shot many mountains from above, but this one will always be special.
