It is a source combined with water that human to out to in the quest into the unknown, from the aspects of “creation” or creatures on the known (earth) to creators within the unknown of the outer universe and beyond.
The perception of the Sun has inspired the rise of many civilisations and their reliance on it for energy and calculation of time (passing of time). It serves as the giver of life, rebirth and the destroyer of it in equal measures with it's fiery scorch. It is this wholly nature and embodiment attributed to the Sun that makes it fascinating to all cultures and worth of our investigation in this project "MONOLITHS: Universe X Metaverse - Man's Search For Meaning".
Within this scope, we embark on the exploration of the perceived singularity of bodies, structures, action or vision that shapes human's search for meaning and existence through the concepts, complexity, massiveness, fascination and solidity embodied by the notion of MONOLITHS.
Humankind's continuous shift from the once immovable idea of the creation to creators within the universe and metaverse - uncontrollable Universe to the controllable Metaverse.
In this metaphoric exploration under the concept of Monoliths, the project follows an examination of materials with large interconnected forces, absorption and distribution of energy and the diffusion mass transfer that occurs around such monoliths beyond the suggestive singularity, immovability, massiveness or uniformity.
What are the nature of the embodiment of the system (s) from which other things emanate or are shaped into existence? This is one of the questions we ask as we explores the experience, representation, impact and contribution of elemental materials such as light, dust, gases, clouds, water, fire, and more to these monoliths.
Highlighting how the existence of such monoliths and inexplicable creations paradoxically lead to humankind 's questioning of it's own existence and stimulates creativity as these questions increase the desire and quest to discover the secrets of the universe.
Humans of all cultures and times have always leverage the technology of the time to understand the sun, and everything bound to it by gravity to form our perception of the solar system within the universe as we know it (and beyond).

Created by 'The House of Medici' collective a fluid collective within the The Concept Space, the project is inspired by the recent digital rival and experimentation using collated physical and digital material as it sets out to create a series of representational mixed media works in an age of digital tokenisation and experience.
