ZANSHIN #12

Collection

SAKAZUKI TABI

Description

As the last greens of summer begin to breathe toward early autumn, the pure water is carried, simply, to where it is meant to go. Water seeks nothing. It has no destination. And so it remains free, able to go anywhere. From one perspective, we are not free. Yet with the slightest shift in awareness, our hearts too may move like water. What matters is to encounter such a "current", and to touch it. I stood upon this ground, imagining a season not yet here, and shaped these works as if to leave a wayfinder for those who would later pass through. A charm for the traveler, crossing the margin of a season where nothing stays, where everything moves on.
