Silk Road Not Dead

Description

Silk Road Not Dead is a Dadaist work within the framework of Net Art, where digital artifacts that were once used for clandestine trade are now re-signified, elevating them into the realm of art to be traded in a different yet equally free market. Each publication is given not only commercial value but also cultural significance, transforming each piece (image/metadata/page) into a complex and original work that collectively forms a kind of historical multimedia installation. By holding the piece, you also hold the Silk Road link, which allows you to access the original page where the publication was hosted. There, you can browse other products, read the original and often witty descriptions written by vendors, explore the reactions and experiences of buyers, and immerse yourself in a unique collecting experience that takes you back to the final day of Silk Road—October 2, 2013. Silk Road Not Dead is not only the oldest collection, nor the one containing the most information to explore, but also the only truly educational and historical collection—one that continues to expand, ensuring that this singular culture, born in the dark web by one of the most intelligent and wealthy communities in the history of the internet, is preserved forever on the blockchain.
