Blurrberry Fields

Collection

Herstory

Description

Because of the movie, Willy Wonka, and my older brothers, I always thought that if I ate too many blueberries I would turn blue. And if I ate too many carrots, I would turn orange. Or if I ate the black watermelon seeds, I would wake up with leaves growing out of my ears. Her–Man–ity is a series born from the fractured spaces between cultures, technologies, and timelines. Created by Rachel Suzanne Tien Wood, a Vietnamese-born, U.S.-raised creative who now works globally, this collection explores what it means to rebuild identity when your foundation has been scattered across continents, platforms, and expectations. Her–Man–ity is about integration, the feeling of becoming whole after being torn apart by the world around you. It is for those who live between definitions. Those who’ve rebuilt themselves not by choosing sides, but by weaving every version of themselves into something entirely new.
