Description

Your rocket is leaving Earth. You are fully strapped to your padded pilot chair, and you can feel its soft cushions on your lower back as the pressure pushes you into the seat. The metal plates of your cockpit flutter erratically as you are leaving the Earth’s atmosphere and entering space. You are leaving everything you have ever known, and the dizzying heights of the impossible are setting in. The crimson red-hot of the rocket’s metal plating is already fading out as you are sailing through OUTER SPACE. You are an astronaut now. All the devices, gadgets and gizmos in your cockpit calm down and start flashing in different colours and frequencies. Your spaceship has one goal: the Moon. It’s not going to be an easy ride. The journey is long, full of ups and downs, and definitely not for the faint of heart. You scooch in your chair, take a deep breath, and grab the control wheel. Let’s freaking go. The immersion of your fantasy shakes as you notice a distant voice repeatedly shouting your name, each time a little more recognizable. The cold black space behind the windows dissolves and the vision of your cockpit shrinks to a small faded sticker right in front of you. You look up and see your mom hollering at you from across the mall. It’s time to go home. You are back on Planet Earth, sitting in your favourite kiddy ride.
