Bomb #10080

Collection

Adam Bomb Squad

Description

Bomb Story: Sometimes, our stockists request exclusive The Hundreds product that a nearby competitor doesn't have access to. Once in a blue moon, we will offer Special Make-Ups (SMUs) for friends of ours or accounts who have gone above and beyond for us. This Adam was one of the more prominent SMUs of the time.| Background Story: Horizontal stripes, especially of the yarn-dyed variety, are a staple of The Hundreds' collection. Earlier on, they were derived from the surf knits and beachgoer patterns that graced the backs of Californians in the 1980s. Examples include Hang Ten, OP, Quiksilver, and Gotcha. In the following decade, independent skate brands and rave companies capitalized on stripes across boxy, baggy tops. Whether they're fatter stripes across neighborhood-sanctioned Charlie Browns or pinstripes across suiting or a baseball jersey, The Hundreds' stripes speak to a spectrum of subcultures.
