What’s a great way to have fun with friends? Scribbling! Scribble Together is an experiment in collaborative creation. I designed a scribbling algorithm without knowing what the eventual colors will be. I’ve then asked friends to create palettes using a custom palette tool. The palettes may allow for some variety such as choosing from multiple paper colors or selecting a subsample from a set of pen colors. Additionally, palette creators were able to create more than one palette. When a piece is minted, it is randomly assigned a palette. However, for a limited time, collectors can change the palette for their pieces. Collector’s choices during this time will affect how primary sales are distributed to palette creators. The artwork is designed to be plotted on 9"x12" paper using 0.45mm or 0.5mm pens. Whether the specific palette for a given piece allows for plotting is a choice left to the palette creator.
