This artwork was originally created for an open call for the ZEITGEIST Group Drop curated by BLΛC on joyn.xyz. I wanted to create a piece that was hectic, that was a cacophony of images, something that caused the mind to have trouble focusing; much like technology, social media, news, etc. have clouded and made difficult our ability to just live day to day and focus on the things that matter. I also wanted pieces of it to jump out at you once you were able to focus your mind. Meditate, focus, drown out all of the other "noise" and there are keys parts to see and interpret. What is the zeitgeist of the 21st century? I took the parts that I currently feel are the "loudest" and incorporated them. Will I feel the same way 5 years from now? Not sure, we'll just have to find out. Process and Medium: A digital collage of AI generated images. Hundreds of images, variants, and blends were generated using Midjourney and then composited together in Photoshop. This image is the first and original version of the artwork. A second enhanced version will be created in 2024 using new AI upscaling technology.
