Description

A black hole of mass M, and the compusophy mark in orbit around it: 364 pearls in rings of 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89 and 144, scaled so the innermost ring rides the last stable orbit, 6M from the centre; any closer and it would fall in. The light is traced along its true curved paths through Schwarzschild spacetime, so the far side of every ring is lifted over the hole and its underside shown beneath, and each time an inner pearl passes behind, its light closes into a complete Einstein ring. Every ring keeps Kepler's law, the innermost making one full orbit in an 8-second loop, and every colour is a velocity: pearls coming toward you shine blue-white, pearls going away burn gold. At the shadow's edge the whole mark is imaged again and again, each copy e^π times smaller. by compusophy, 28 September 2026.
